Das Gyuto ist ein Allzweckmesser mit einer spitzen Klinge und einer schlanken Form. Die schmale Spitze ermöglicht einen gezielten Schnitt und hilft beim Schneiden von Fleisch und Fisch. Dieses Gyuto-Messer verfügt über eine Klinge, die in Miyazaki aus Blue Steel Nr. 2 im traditionellen Kurouchi-Schmiedeverfahren geschmiedet und anschließend von einem Handwerksmeister in Toyama einzeln von Hand graviert wurde. Die für Blue Steel Nr. 2 typische außergewöhnliche Schärfe und Schnitthaltigkeit wird durch das klassische Kurouchi-Finish und die elegante Gravur ergänzt und vereint überlieferte Techniken aus verschiedenen Regionen Japans in einem einzigen Messer.
