BUT, expecting a USB compatible wire that fits into a normal plug, I needed an adapter to be able to plug it into a plug adapter. The ad needs to be able to highlight the fact that you may need an adapter.

I love this mat, but it doesn't do what it says... I bought this mat for the candlesticks! The charging station was a bonus. It is very large and covers my working area, which I like.
