Bois 1920 Vetiver Ambrato - Eau de Parfum is een elegante, kruidige en amberachtige vetivergeur die klassieke mannelijkheid combineert met de verfijnde stijl van Italiaanse nicheparfumerie. Deze geur werd uitgebracht in 2005 en gecreëerd door parfumeur Enzo Galardi voor het huis Bois 1920. Vetiver Ambrato staat bekend om zijn warme mix van citrus, groene kruiden, aromatische lavendel en diepe amber-vetiverakkoorden. Het parfum voelt verfijnd, volwassen en licht vintage aan, alsof het de sfeer oproept van een klassieke barbershop gecombineerd met rijke harsen en warme houtsoorten. 

De opening is fris, groen en aromatisch met bergamot, citroen, petitgrain, galbanum en artemisia. De citrusnoten geven een sprankelende en energieke start terwijl galbanum en artemisia zorgen voor een krachtige groene bitterheid die meteen diepte toevoegt. Hierdoor voelt de eerste indruk elegant en klassiek aan, zonder modern synthetisch of overdreven scherp te worden. Veel liefhebbers omschrijven de opening als “green gentleman style” met een verfijnde kruidige frisheid.

In het hart ontwikkelt zich een warme en aromatische kern met lavendel, geranium en kruidnagel. Lavendel geeft een klassieke barbershopachtige zachtheid terwijl geranium een frisse, licht groene bloemigheid toevoegt. Kruidnagel zorgt voor een warme kruidige toets die de geur meer karakter en diepte geeft. Naarmate de geur zich ontwikkelt, wordt het vetiverakkoord duidelijker aanwezig: droog, groen, licht rokerig en elegant verweven met de amberachtige basis.

A nice valet tray, smaller in size, but with thicker walls / better made than others I've tried

First off, I think the sizing is a bit wrong on this listing. I've used a couple other valet trays of this style, but different brands, and this is my favorite of the there, as well as being the best quality of the bunch. For PU Leather, it's feels good and closer to real leather than usual. Also compared previous similarly styled trays, the sidewalls are thicker than what I was expecting, and the snaps feel tight and of a higher quality. These ship flat / snap up styled trays will never be as good as the stitched one that you aren't able to flatted, but for $14 it feels like a good value for the quality, and compared the others I've tried from different companies, it is a little smalled, but sincerely feels better made / more durable.

Nice looking valet tray with a soft feel and useful depth

This valet tray turned out to be a perfect addition to my dresser and does a nice job keeping everything neat and tidy. It has a soft feel to it that makes it look a little nicer than a basic catchall tray, and I like the depth since it helps keep items contained instead of sliding out too easily. The included keychain holder is also a nice extra and gives it a little more usefulness right out of the box. The photos show the measurements, which should help with sizing expectations, but overall I think this is a good looking and practical organizer for a dresser, nightstand, or entry table.
