Later volgden meer verhalen, zoals dat van Luises jongere zus Tini, die eerst partijlid werd maar later een relatie kreeg met een half-Joodse arts en bevriend raakte met een van de samenzweerders tegen Hitler.Von Benda-Beckmann ging op zoek naar het naziverleden van zijn grootouders en oudooms en -tantes, die de grote geschiedenis van zo dichtbij meemaakten. Hij stuitte daarbij op de anekdote over het kostbare tafelkleedje met jachttaferelen dat de familie aan Hitler zou hebben geschonken. Wat klopt er eigenlijk van dit verhaal en wat zegt het ons over de omgang met het naziverleden in Duitse families?
Bas von Benda-Beckmann (1976) is historicus en werkt bij de Anne Frank Stichting. Eerder schreef hij De Velser Affaire, dat op de shortlist stond van de Libris Geschiedenis Prijs, en Het Oranjehotel, dat de longlist van de Libris Geschiedenis Prijs haalde. Na het Achterhuis. Anne Frank en de andere onderduikers in de kampen verscheen in 2020 en kwam tot stand met medewerking van Erika Prins, Gertjan Broek, Esther Göbel en Teresien da Silva.

Works well

i bought this for 3 reasons.
1. Privacy when changing so I don't have to lock dog out of room.
2. In case MIL comes over and wants to snoop. She won't be able to see my bedroom.
3. A nice backdrop to use when taking photos of the clothing I make.
This is perfect for me.
My only "complaint" is that it is not the most sturdy thing. I have to finagle it in a way that keeps it from falling over.
But for the price, it can't be beat!

Cheap and unstable

Although this has nothing to do with the product, it arrived a day later than previously stated. Making me have to create a makeshift room divider the day it was actually needed. When the product arrived it arrived in a box that showed no evidence of damage. Once opened, divider was found inside a plastic cover. Great protector for dust or scratching. The divider was fully assembled so there was nothing for me to do but remove it from packaging and use it where needed. After further inspection the divider was not only cheap and flimsy looking it was absolutely unstable. It would wobble and appears to have been assembled in a rush making some panels crooked. I noted significant damage to the bottom portion of some of the panels both front and back. It does not feel like an item worth the price. The color is as advertised and the product had no smell. The sizing was accurate.

It really covers our privacy area.

It is the exact size that we needed (8 panel) the white color brightens the deck and compliments the trim of our house.The weight is minimal and was easily put up by two people.As for the sturdiness, the screen is made for outdoors, so I am hoping it will stand up to rain and some wind.
